The term "DevOps" typically refers to the emerging professional movement that advocates a collaborative working relationship between Development and IT Operations, resulting in the fast flow of planned work achieving the value stream that is between the business (where requirements are defined) and the customer (where value is delivered). It is a new way of looking at development altogether.
This conference "DevOps Summit" brings together leading practitioner-organisations who have achieved Continuous Delivery and organisational transformation. Companies going through Mergers and Acquisitions will inherit these systems too and be faced with similar situations and need to find out the many initiatives that increase the efficiency and agility within the enterprise and balance system uptime and stability while bringing alignment between Dev and Ops.
Learn more about DevOps skills, Delivering Processes, Tools for building and deployment, Legacy Challenges, Security Integration, Cross-team engagement and many more.

Legacy applications are those that have been inherited from languages or techniques earlier than current technology. Most enterprises have legacy applications that serve critical business needs. Typically, the challenge for automation teams is to identify a testing tool or framework which can test such legacy applications. Most of the current technology testing tools either support only latest technologies or they are too expensive to adopt them even if they support these legacy applications. This presentation is all about ways to automate such legacy applications without compromising on testing latest technology applications. The techniques discussed in this presentation helps organizations to automate their mission critical business legacy applications effectively.

Integrating Test Automation in DevOps - Click Here for More Info
Tribikram Rath, Director - Quality Assurance Engineering, GE
Digital Organizations are adopting DevOps methodologies in order to move their Code to production more frequently, that will help driving faster time to market and better customer experience due to better overall quality of the products.
Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous delivery (CD) are two important aspects of DevOps practice where CI deals with code integration and CD deals with releasing the digital products more frequently to the customers, may be several times a day. This is where the need of integrating test automation comes into picture in order to enable Continuous Testing of the deployable code.
In this presentation I’ll cover the continuous test automation that we’ve integrated for couple of our internal projects that saves around 60% of testing effort and reduces the cycle time by ~70%. I’ll also cover an overview of an scriptless automation tool that is in action to quickly build the test script and how the executable test-script is broken into several packages that enables continuous parallel execution via Jenkins using a test lab that uses VM as test execution bed.
As a senior professional in Software Testing/QA space (20+ years of experience), I've strong expertise in
- Technical and solution delivery: evaluation, implementation, and developing customized test automation solutions using Industry tools like HP ALM, QTP/UFT, SOAPUI, Selenium, Perfecto Mobile, Load Runner, Squish, EggPlant, Sikuli, Qualitia (scriptless automation tool) etc.
- Leadership skills and highly focused around people, process, product and customers with people management, hiring, budgeting and Org development skills
- Leading testing engagements for Web, Mobile, Engineering apps, Cloud/SAAS based apps and S/w products
- Driving simplification/cost reduction initiatives, vendor/supplier management and operation excellence
- Setting up new process, monitoring and controlling by SLAs/KPI Metrics and proposing roadmap for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration, liaising, influencing, negotiating and presentation skills
